Realizing his passion for education and school administration, Chris Bugbee pursued further studies at the Central Connecticut State University where he obtained his Master’s and subsequently, his Sixth Year Degree. This enabled him to obtain an Administrative Certification.

Chris Bugbee began his research on homeschooling in 2016. During his research, he discovered that homeschooling has grown consistently over the last decade, and homeschooled students have achieved increasing success in college. These students were challenged in their studies without being distracted by all the extra requirements of public education. In 2018, Chris Bugbee decided to leave public education and establish the CT Homeschool Center, which offers six to eight-week courses in all subject areas designed to enhance the homeschooling experience and meet the needs of students in different ages and grades. Generally, courses cover three to four grades and are differentiated to challenge all students. Courses usually serve four to eight students and are taught by different instructors according to strict curriculum requirements.
